About Me

I was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. I’ve been in private practice since 2005. My days are spent Life coaching Individuals, Couples, Marriages, and Families. My goal is to empower people using clinically tested and evidence-based interventions. In addition to being a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist, I understand the relationship between spirituality, and counseling with a cultural perspective. With God being the center of my life, I credit my success to him. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Theology from Bethany College, Scotts Valley, CA, and my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. While attending UNLV, I was awarded a certificate for “Outstanding Academics as an African American.” After graduating I was a part-time instructor at both alma maters for four years. When I’m not in session, I spend time researching the latest techniques, and strategies helping people see things differently. While I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families are my strengths.  In my practice, I incorporate pre-marital, post marital, Interracial Couples, and blended families. As a Life Coach, I work with professionals, artists, athletes, and executives in the area of personal development. My practice facilitates workshops and seminars on various topics including Interracial dating, Pre-marital counseling, Intimacy in relationships, Goal setting, and relationship dynamics.  I look forward to working with you should you need my services.
