I was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. I’ve been in private practice since 2005. My days are spent Life coaching Individuals, Couples, Marriages, and Families. My goal is to empower people using clinically tested and evidence-based interventions. In addition to being a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist, I understand the relationship between spirituality, and counseling with a cultural perspective. With God being the center of my life, I credit my success to him. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Theology from Bethany College, Scotts Valley, CA, and my Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. While attending UNLV, I was awarded a certificate for “Outstanding Academics as an African American.” After graduating I’ve been a part-time instructor at both alma maters for four years teaching in this field. When I’m not in session, I spend time researching the latest techniques, and strategies helping people see things differently. My specialty is counseling from a multicultural, spiritual, and a focus on seeing issues from the client’s perspective. In my practice, I incorporate pre-marital, post marital, Interracial Couples, Bi-racial children, blended families, and at risk youth. As a Life Coach, I work with professionals, artists, athletes, and executives in the area of personal development. My practice facilitates workshops and seminars on various topics including Single Parenting, Interracial dating, Pre-marital counseling, Intimacy in relationships, Goal setting, and relationship dynamics.
